Mind Money Life is a personal, non-commercial website. This page explains, in plain words, what information the site collects, which outside services are involved, and what you can ask me to do.
What is collected
- Comments. When you leave a comment, WordPress stores the name, email address and comment you type, plus the technical address of your connection (IP address). Your email address is not shown publicly. Comments are read before they appear.
- Comment cookies. If you tick the box to save your name and email for next time, your browser keeps a small file (a cookie) so you don’t have to type them again. You can leave the box unticked.
- Visit statistics. To understand which articles are read, the site uses one counting tool, Jetpack Stats (by Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com). It records things like the pages you visit, when, the kind of device and browser you use, and your approximate location worked out from your IP address.
- Pictures. Some pictures are delivered through Jetpack’s image service on WordPress.com servers, so your browser connects to those servers when a page loads.
- Server and security records. The site’s hosting company and its security tools keep ordinary technical records, such as visit times and IP addresses, to keep the site running and safe.
The companies named above handle this information under their own privacy policies, and some of it may be processed on servers outside India.
What is not done
- Your information is not sold or rented to anyone.
- The site does not show ads, and your information is not used for advertising.
- There is no newsletter and nothing to buy.
Links to other sites
The Instagram link (@mind_money_life) is a plain link. Nothing from Instagram loads on this site until you click it; after that, Instagram’s own privacy policy applies.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- If you want to see, correct or remove a comment or the details stored with it, send a message on Instagram at @mind_money_life. Please don’t put private details in a public comment.
Changes
If the site starts or stops using any of the services above, this page is updated first, and the date at the top changes.
